Attention CR Readers!

CR Online

Starting with Volume 10, the full text and illustrations of all articles published in Climate Research are available. The articles can be read, downloaded and printed out - all you need is a Web browser and the Adobe Acrobat Reader software (version 3 or higher).

How to access CR Online

  1. Ensure the Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 3 or higher) is installed on your computer
If you don't have this, you can obtain it for free at Adobe's Web site, http://www.adobe.com. When you install it, pay attention to any information files describing how to integrate the Adobe Acrobat Reader with your Web browser, and follow the instructions provided. (For example, it may be possible for you to set up the Acrobat Reader so that the articles you are reading will appear embedded in your Web browser, rather than in a separate application window.)

  2. Use your Web browser to call up the issue of Climate Research that you want to read
To do this, you can enter the URL http://www.int-res.com/journals/cr in your Web browser and then go to the issue you're interested in. The table of contents for each issue contains a link to the full online version of each article.

  3. Choose the "Full article" link for the article that you want to read
Depending on how you have configured your browser software, the article will be displayed either in your browser's window or in a separate application window. In some cases, your browser might not display the articles at all but instead will simply download the article and store it in a file in PDF format; if your browser does this, you can view the article by starting the Adobe Acrobat Reader yourself and then opening the downloaded PDF file containing the article.
